Man with Staff Seen from Behind (”Figurine”)

This fine etching from Salvator Rosa's Figurine series is printed on 16th century Italian paper bearing the top half of a watermark showing an anchor surmounted by a six-pointed star. Another Rosa etching acquired at the same time, Soldier Standing, Holding a Cane and Facing Left, has the bottom half, indicating they were originally part of the same sheet.
